Salt 88 Receives Wine Spectator’s 2014 Award of Excellence
OMAHA July 24, 2014 – Salt 88 has been selected for the Wine Spectator’s 2014 Award of Excellence. In addition to the honor, Salt was selected as the only new restaurant in Nebraska to qualify for the 2014 award. Topping of this achievement, the restaurant was also categorized as having an inexpensive wine list from the judges.
“The commitment of this year’s winning restaurateurs to building high-quality wine programs has been extraordinary,” said Marvin R. Shanken, Editor and Publisher of Wine Spectator, in a press release. “There has never been a more exciting time to be a wine lover.”
About the Wine List Awards
Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Wine List Awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers.
To qualify for an award, the list must present complete, accurate wine information. It must include vintages and appellations for all selections, including wines available by the glass. Complete producer names and correct spellings are mandatory, while the overall presentation and appearance of the list is also taken into consideration.
